The Edgar Diabetes and Obesity Research Centre, along with the Healthier Lives National Science Challenge and The Riddet Institute, a national Centre of Research Excellence, are co-hosting a research symposium and two workshops on 11-12 February, 2019.
The Focus on Fibre and Food Monitoring symposium will examine two topical aspects of human nutrition and health:
- the role of dietary fibre in preventing and treating non-communicable diseases;
- the importance of knowing what New Zealanders eat to inform health research and policy.
Registration is $75 and covers cost of the symposium, dinner and workshop.
